“Teaching, Living and Caring as the Family of Christ”

“TEACHING”
TEACHING God’s Word in church and school – We will teach all people about God. We will teach them that he is a loving God who forgives us of our sins, no matter what they are, providing we can see the error of our ways and ask Him to forgive us. We will teach them the Gospel, the Ten Commandments that God gave to Moses, the Holy Sacraments, the Doctrine of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, and teaching the Christian way of life.

“LIVING”
LIVING the Christian life – As children of God, we will show this to others by the manner in which we live; to live in God’s image and to know Him as our Savior. This will be passed on to our children and to others so that they may come to know the true God.

“CARING”
CARING for the earthly and spiritual needs of all people – because of Christ’s example to us, we will show others that we care for each and every one of them. We will do this by reaching out and sharing God’s Word and his bountiful blessings with the world-wide community through evangelism and missions.

“AS THE FAMILY OF CHRIST”
We are the “Family of Christ” because He chose us to be His followers, His chosen people. He did not leave anyone out of His master plan. We make that choice for ourselves. Anyone and everyone can and should belong to the “Family of Christ”, so that we may have eternal life with Him in Heaven.
