Sunday School
Trinity Lutheran Sunday School is a wonderful addition to our Sunday Worship. We do not look on it as a "sometimes" event, but an important part of our spiritual growth. Sunday School is help immediately after Sunday worship. There are classes for every level from age 3 through 103+. Preschoolers & Kindergartners meet in the office area, grades 1-3 in one conference room, and grades 4-6 in the other. 7&8th grades hold class in the office fellowship hall of the sanctuary. Nursery is offered for the very young children 3 & up, in the cry room. The adults generally have 2 studies to choose from, one topical and one in a specific book of the Bible. he children use a curriculum that includes music, crafts, and games. This is a wonderful time of learning & fellowship as we study God's Word and strengthen our faith and grow closer to him.
VBS (Vacation Bible School)
VBS is held every summer for one week, usually in late July or early August. These morning sessions are about 3 hours and include music, games, crafts, and lessons. We also provides snacks and have outdoor activities. A very hard working group of volunteers makes this all possible, helping with everything from scene creation to teaching, to providing snacks, to praying for the children and families who attend. Not only is VBS a wonderful education opportunity for our member children, it is a very important outreach to children of the community. Many of whom do not know Jesus. Is is not unusual for us to have 70-90 children attend daily. The week culminates in the children being invited to attend Sunday worship and share some of the songs they learned with the congregation.
